This course is for those who have to improve their French but who don't
have any specific needs.
18 years old minimum Groups:
Formed in homogeneous groups by the School Number of students per class:
Regular group: 4 to 9 students. 25hrs of courses per week including 5
hours in our Sessions:
All year round NB: The hours lost because of statutory holidays will be rescheduled during the week. Minimum stay:2 weeks. A new session will start every Monday. A student could choose to stay, for example, 3 months, 6 months or one year, in fact, as long as he wishes. Linguistic and socio-cultural activities:Activities are not included in the 25 hours per week. However, the students must participate in at least one activity per week by themselves. These activities are planned in class. Excursions can be organized at the participant's request (at their expense). Activities and excursions are organized on location. Lodging:Host family (private bedroom, breakfast and dinner) or residence (breakfast). NB: The lodging is calculated starting from Sunday's dinner to Saturday's breakfast, extra nights and meals will be charged. Board, apartment or hotel: various prices, upon request. Credits: Under the unique cooperative agreement between the School and the University of Southern Mississippi, students who study at the School may earn from 3 to 15 semester hours of undergraduate or graduate credit from USM.
Individual coursesSpecial for executives, diplomats, technicians, professionals, etc. This course is completely adapted to the student's needs (vocabulary, work situations, etc.). In this case, we would ask the participants to furnish their requirements. Number of students per class:
Private courses: one (1) participant. Sessions:All year round, at the dates of your choice. Private courses : 20-or 40-hour sessions (35 hours in class and 5 hours of "lunch-conversation" with the teacher). Also available, 48-hour programs on 6 days or programs less than 5 days adapted to the needs and schedule of the participant. Please consult us. Group courses : 20- or 40-hour sessions (35 hours in class and 5 hours of "lunch-conversation" with the teacher) or more, up to 60 hours in 6 days including the midday meal. Linguistic and socio-cultural activities:If the participant wishes, the School could organize industrial tours and meetings with their counterparts or any other activity. It is best to give us notice in order to plan the activities requested. Activities and excursions are not included in the program and are at the student's expense. Lodging:The School could, upon request, take care of the lodging. Many possibilities are offered : host family, residence, bed & breakfast, hotel or apartment. Combined programIn this program you take 25hrs. per week in a group (see possible restrictions in "I") and, in addition, you take the number of hours (you decide how many) in a private course. Example: 25hrs. of group courses per week, including 5 hrs in our audiovisual workstation, plus 2hrs. per day of private courses (10hrs. per week), for a total of 35 hours per week. Advantage: For a moderate price, you combine the advantages of the two programs: general French with the group course and an adaptation to your needs or specific difficulties with the private course.
